The Support Network will have informal sessions on the NBPTS renewal process in October or November.  Please check www.thesupportnetwork.net for current information in the fall.
 
First, please, update your information with NBPTS at www.nbpts.org
NBPTS will be sending letters to NBCTs eligible for renewal with a new Candidate I. D. number and information on the renewal process.
 
You can download the renewal information from their website, now, if you wish.  But, please remember that there could be slight revisions when it is time for you to renew.  All information regarding renewing, including fee and other concerns are given on the NBPTS site.  There are no funds to assist with the renewal fee.
 
As there is no charge to NBCTs for the renewal process, there will not be a formal facilitator but there will be informal assistance for you all to establish your networking.
 
After you renew, please send a copy of your results, NBPTS letter, to

as NBPTS will not be publishing a list of NBCTs who renewed.
 
As The Support Network is building to a critical mass of NBCTs in LAUSD, we welcome volunteers to assist new candidates in the NBPTS process.  Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering.  The 92 hours can not be used to assist NBPTS candidates.
